DM2 was novated for the documentation of a new 3 court multipurpose hall, performance space and kinesiology studio by Bryant Building Contractors through a D&C contract format. The initial SD design was undertaken by 8i Architects, after some minor re-planning and the revision of internal and external material palettes to address the schools concern of building cohesion and integration within the surrounding site context and school facilities. The multi-purpose hall aims to create a centralised performance hub for the surrounding schools and townships which may not have the opportunity or facilities to host events of upwards of 624 seating capacity.
